A pint glass, originally for serving beer, but capable of serving orange juice, soda, water or whisky. The graphic depicts our legendary namesake highwayman—a gentleman-rogue—approaching a carriage of ladies while striking a rakish pose. The McFarland tartan and lantern adorn a shield, and there’s a playful in-joke for the editor in your life. On the reverse is the logo of our favorite local brewery, Boondocks Brewing Tap Room & Restaurant, which brews and serves the finest selection of world-class craft beers available here in the North Carolina high country. These glasses were designed for our 35th Anniversary celebration and were only available for one night, on June 17, 2014, to Boondocks customers who ordered a pint of our specially-brewed McFarland Anniversary Scottish Ale. An extremely limited number of these glasses remains, and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
