United States shipping charges via USPS: $5.99 first book, $2.99 each additional. Delivery time is 2-8 business days.
Canada shipping charges via UPS standard: $19.99 first book, $8.99 each additional. Delivery time is 2-5 business days.
International shipping charges via U.S. post first class international: $29.99 first book, $9.99 each additional. Delivery time varies by destination, typically taking 2-8 weeks to reach the destination country. Or, order from McFarland’s international agent for your country.
Expedited shipping services are also available. Ask us for details while you place your telephone order, or email us ahead of time for an estimate of shipping charges and transit time.
If you are dissatisfied with a book you have purchased, you may return it for full credit. McFarland asks that the book be returned in new condition, within 30 days of the invoice date, and that the invoice number be provided. Credit will not be issued for returned books not meeting these criteria.
In the event that you have received a book that is defective or damaged, or an item that has been shipped erroneously, please report these circumstances within 30 days of delivery.

Backorder Cancellation Policy
Any backorder or pre-order can be canceled/refunded at any time with no deadline.
Price Protection Policy
McFarland offers price protection for 7 days from the date of purchase. If McFarland decreases the list price or runs a sale on a book you purchased, contact us to receive a credit for the difference.
A Note About Website Accounts Created Before January 2018
In addition to receiving a design facelift during January 2018, the McFarland website’s underlying ecommerce system was replaced with a new software platform. This has impacted existing customer website accounts. The new platform is not able to recognize website accounts created under the old site’s software, and will ask for a fresh website account to be established. Customers will also be offered a “social login” option (via Google, Facebook, or Twitter). Internally at McFarland, we continue to maintain existing customer accounts in our order system…only the website aspect accessible directly to customers was impacted by the January 2018 upgrade.
