Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies

Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that examines global territorial and maritime issues from a range of fields including geography, history, political science, international law, regional studies and peace studies. Founded by the Northeast Asian History Foundation, JTMS is under the editorship of Yonsei University.

Subscriptions & Back Issues
Subscriptions are available by volume (2 issues/year) to institutions for $125, and to individuals for $50. Subscribers outside the United States add $20 for additional postage. Back/single issues are available to institutions for $75 and individuals for $30.

Submissions
JTMS welcomes policy-oriented articles (up to 9,000 words) and short papers, commentaries, and reviews (up to 4,000 words) on territorial and maritime studies. Submitted papers should include four major sections: the title page, abstract, main body, and references. The title page should contain the title of the paper, the author’s name, the institutional affiliation and keywords. Manuscripts should follow the author-date method of in-text citation; author’s last name and the year of publication for the source material should appear in the text. Papers about economics, business, culture, history, politics, international relations and other academic disciplines are accepted for consideration. To submit an article for possible publication in JTMS, please submit your paper as an email attachment in Microsoft Word format to the editor. Authors will receive an email confirmation when their articles are received.

Authors wishing to appear in the Winter/Spring issue must submit their articles for consideration by September 1; those wishing to appear in the Summer/Fall issue must submit their articles by February 1.
