The entries in this dictionary contain biographical sketches, career highlights and statistics for hundreds of players, as well as information about their teams and leagues.

About the Author(s)

The late Barry Swanton was a retired baseball coach and manager from Winnipeg, Canada. He was inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame for his promotion of baseball and baseball history in that province.
A former radio and television reporter, Jay-Dell Mah develops websites. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) and previously served as the organization’s webmaster. His has been on the web since the late 1990s.
