AWARD: Henry Chadwick Award Recipent David Nemec

Congratulations to David Nemec, who was recently named a Henry Chadwick Award recipient.  Established by the Society for American Baseball Research “to honor the game’s great researchers,” the award is named for the early baseball writer and editor who helped popularize the game.  Nemec, the author of The Rank and File of 19th Century Major Leaguer Baseball and Forfeits and Successfully Protested Games in Major League Baseball, joins a growing list of McFarland authors who are Chadwick honorees.  Previously receiving the award were Charles Alexander, Peter Morris, and Dorothy Seymour Mills, along with Base Ball editor John Thorn.
